CHESSOR, Bobby, age 81, September 14, 2013. Preceded in death by his brother, Billy Chessor. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sybil Chessor; daughters, Debbie Chessor and Janet Newman; grandchildren, Robert (Amber) Hostettler, Chris Hostettler, Alyssa Newman, Skylar Newman and Morgan Smythe; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Tomlinson and brother, Doyle (Shirley) Chessor. A Korean War Veteran and member of Al Menah Temple. He was the owner and operator of Chessor Warehouse for 30 plus years. A visitation will be held from four until eight o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 17th of September, 2013 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held by Pastor Stan Mitchell at two thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 18th of September, 2013 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be his family. Honorary pallbearers are The Oriental Band, The Nashville Traffic Club, and the John B. Garrett Lodge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
