Blanche Elaine Henning Holmes Lucey, age 89, was born on January 18, 1932 to Ralph and Alma Skinner Henning. She is also preceded in death by husbands, John Holmes Jr. and Richard Lucey Jr.; son, Jeff Holmes Sr.; grandsons, Lucas Queen, Sean Holmes, and Brian Holmes. brothers, Norman Griffin, Raymond Griffin; and sisters Aletha Griffin, Charlotte Wigg, and Ruth Billanti.
Blanche is survived by son, Roy Holmes; daughters, Joyce Holmes Adams (David) and Janet Holmes Coats (Willie); grandsons, Jeff Holmes Jr., Thomas Holmes, Joshua Garner, Will Coats, and Eric Holmes; granddaughters, Katy Holmes Hudgins, Alex Holmes, Megan Holmes, Sarah Holmes, Katie Coats, and Samantha Coats; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holmes, Josh Holmes, Brook Holmes, Victoria Holmes, Zach Holmes, Christina Holmes, Kena Holmes, Addilyn Holmes, Gwyn Garner, Ben Garner, Frank Garner, Claud York, Dean York, Zoey York, and Ely Blevins; sister, Alma Bracker; brother, Ralph Henning; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Blanche was a long time member of Una Church of Christ. Her memory will forever live on through her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
