POTTER, Billy Ross. A memorial/luncheon to celebrate the life of Billy Ross Potter of Brentwood, TN will be held Sat. 12/15/12 at 11:30 at Woodlawn Cemetery 660 Thompson Lane. Billy died at age 78 as a result of a post-operative stroke. His parents Hackett and Sally, and his daughter, Heather, precede him in death. His wife Joyce Paul Potter, son Lincoln Potter (Cecelia Green), sister Linda Smith, grandchildren Georgia and Jackson, and multiple nieces and nephews, survive him. He graduated from David Lipscomb High School and attended Vanderbilt University before serving as a U. S. Marine in Korea. For 55-years, he headed a successful commercial real estate business that constructed over 100 houses, warehouses and apartment buildings. Billy loved his family, his many friends and animals of all kinds. He could find humor in spite of unfavorable circumstances and brought laughter and joy to those who knew him. He was an avid reader and perfected the friendly debate to an art form. In lieu of flowers, send donations to ASPC
