Billy Allen Baker, age 88, of Ashland City, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Billy was born July 27, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Tom Allen Baker and Nellie Christine Winfrey Baker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Deanna Rhea Hite Baker.
Billy is survived by his sons, Craig (Stephanie) Baker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Keith (Cindy) Baker of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Barry (Amanda Flair) Baker of Ashland City, Tennessee and Brian (Amy) Baker of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chance (Kayla) Baker, Kaitlyn (Dylan) Herchenbach, Christian Baker, Jenna Baker and Julia Baker; great-grandchildren, Cade, Bree, Liam and Miles; sister, Cheryl (Butch) Parker of Nashville, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews.
Billy worked for BellSouth for over 35 years as a supervisor of maintenance for the Middle Tennessee District. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and four wheeling. He loved to spend time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from nine until eleven o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Lindsley Hall of Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Lindsley Hall of Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Interment to follow in the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
