Farewell, to Beverly Anne Galbraith, our songbird of our lives. Beverly was born November 18, 1939. A native Nashvillian, she passed away on June 19, 2021 at age 81. She was a member of Riverwood Church of Christ. She loved Karaoke these days, but she was an avid songwriter, capable of writing of songs right off the cuff. Singing was what she most loved! She was a lover of road tripping, and traveled across North America singing many times, with her children by her side. Country music flowed through her veins. She loved the Arizona desert, the Florida beaches, and the Tennessee hills. She dutifully served the state governments of Tennessee, Arizona, and Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Galbraith; her mother, Annie Reed; her father, Orville L. Reed; her brother, Clyde Reed; and her nephew, Charles “Bubba” Reed. She is survived by her brother, Buddy Reed; three daughters, Melinda McDonald, Cookie Barrett, and Renee Marcum; her grandchildren, Eric Somma, Brian Justice, Brandi Justice, Rebecca Morales, Jasmine Whitaker, and Xena McDonald; and nine great-grandchildren.
