Coushatta, LA – A funeral service celebrating the life of Betty Doris Johnson Peterson, 86, will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park of Nashville, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM and a graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM.
Mrs. Betty was born on January 5, 1934 in Decatur, Alabama to William Austin Johnson and Maddie Lou Stewart Johnson, and passed away January 10, 2020 at her home in Hall Summit. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John Stewart Peterson; her parents; son Robert Peterson; and sisters Mavis Ferrell and Wilma Francis George.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Peterson and wife Lavette; daughter Susan A. Peterson and friend Rusty; brother-in-law Don George; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
