She was born in New Orleans on May 8, 1941, to the late Henry and Marguerite Walker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tobias Joseph Boteler; husband, Oscar Dalton; and brother, Roland Gerald Walker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Crystal Piarrot of NC; grandchildren, Philip Israel Piarrot, Andrew Charles Piarrot, Tobias Joseph Piarrot all of TN, Kasey Maria Piarrot and Jacob Lee Williams of NC, and Joseph and Lora Wactor of TN; and great-grandchildren, Devin, William and Lora Marie Wactor.
Also, Fay Armstrong Walker, Troy Walker, Keri Walker Cooper and her husband Cheston all of TX, Ann Adams of TN, and Ann Marie Wactor and Daisy Wactor Sheasby and her husband Kelly all of LA.
Barbara was a life-long Christian and an active member of East Nashville’s historic Tulip Street United Methodist Church for many years until its recent closing.
She fiercely loved the Lord and all of her family. She had a gift of gab, never meeting a stranger. She would gladly help anyone in need, often opening her home to anyone who needed it. She will be sorely missed by so many!

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, CT/ST at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm, CT/ST in Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton’s Dignity Hall. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
