Annette Baker Jones

Annette Baker Jones age: 78, passed away Jan 1, 2016 after an illness with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Preceded in death by husband of 52 years, Albert Jones; parents, Sammie & Florence Baker; sisters, Bea Maples, Kathleen Lee; brother, Dean Baker. Survived by children, Sharon (Nick) Webster, Rhonda (Shirman) Thomas, Dan (Brandi) Jones; 6 grandchildren, David Thomas, Baker Thomas, Emily Webster, Bette Webster, Baylee Jones, Austin Jones; siblings, Alice Fox, Sammie (Joyce) Baker, Mary Holladay, Helen (Harold) Morrow, Billy (Barbara) Patterson and a host of family and friends.

Annette loved her family, especially her grandchildren, including Kelly and Jason Morrow (her “adopted grandchildren”) her cherished friends and spending time in nature with her beloved husband, Albert. She loved birding, and so was a natural enemy of squirrels. Annette was an active member of Water Street Church of Christ, Charlotte, TN for many years where she taught Sunday School and did volunteer work, and most recently a member of Florence Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN.

Gathering of family & friends Sunday, January 3, 2016 4-8pm at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to service on Monday. Funeral Service Monday, January 4th 10 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CurePSP or Alive Hospice.
