Ann Harper departed this life on March 17, 2025 At the age of 95. She was born June 26, 1929 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She graduated Central High School and attended MTSU before moving to Nashville at an early age. She traveled North America with friends she made at the YWCA and they enjoyed a lifelong bond. She married the love of her life James K Harper in 1954. She enjoyed a long career at SSA and FHA. She was an avid golfer, bridge player, puzzle enthusiast, and was a fan of the Lady Vols and Vanderbilt basketball.
She is preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Ruth Florida Arnold, husband James K Harper and siblings Mary Basso, Alice Cook, Madge Barrett, Clifford Arnold Jr, Janie Blair, Tommy J Arnold, Dorothy Morris and Patricia Powell and grandson JP McMeans. She is survived by her children, Melinda (John) McMeans of Gallatin, Ken (Tina) Harper of Cookeville, and Melissa (Ron) Rybolt of Largo Florida and grandchildren Jessica, Ashley, Lindsey, Kendall, Lauren, Kayla, Brandon and 10 great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends for Annie will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Following the gathering of family and friends will be a graveside service from 12:30pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
