She was presented the Paladin Jewel Leader Gold Ribbon Award for her work with the Catholic Students Mission Crusade by Monsignor Louis Kemphues.
Ann had many talents but was known to play music by ear and sing. She played the organ and directed the choir at Sacred Heart Church (Memphis) as well as St. Edward’s Church (Nashville). Ann enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and looked forward to her monthly visits by her daughters who lived out of town as well as visits from her son and daughter who live locally. She enjoyed playing her piano hours at a time, but she especially enjoyed playing to entertain others. She could play any instrument but took lessons with Cindy Lauper to play a Dulcimer and Ukulele.
Ann was the most thoughtful person who was always offering a kind word or deed to a friend in need. She loved life and lived it to the fullest even playing bridge, bingo, and Mass the week prior to her passing away. Ann will be remembered for her generous love of others.
