October 25, 1969 – February 22, 2014
Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Amy was a graduate of UT Knoxville and member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. While at UT, she met her husband Alan. Amy enjoyed a career in computer science before deciding to dedicate herself to her family. During her four year battle with melanoma she fought not only for herself, but to raise awareness of this disease, to help fund more research, and to reach out and help other patients as well. Her sense of humor, occasionally untimely, will be remembered by all who knew her. Amy’s legacy lives on in her three children whom she adored.
Amy was preceded in death by her father Jerry Boser. She leaves behind her husband, Alan Willett; her children Christopher, Caroline and Parker. Her mother, Judy Boser and brother Tony Boser and many beloved friends.
We rest secure in the faith that she now resides peacefully with God, and that we will all someday be reunited. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations are made in her memory to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at St. Henry Catholic Church, interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at St. Henry Catholic Chruch.
Arrangements under the direction of Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee.
