Amy Woods Alexander, age 47, of Nashville passed away on April 4, 2015. She was a member of Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville. Amy was born on January 11, 1968 in Chattanooga to Judy and Eddie Woods. She graduated from Red Bank High School in 1986. Amy is survived by her husband, Jim Alexander, daughters Grace and Kathryn Alexander, son Chris Alexander (Hollie), mother Judy Woods, father Eddie Woods (May), sister Angela Owens (Michael), niece Jordan Owens, and nephew Zachary Owens. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, April 8th at two-thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville. Visitation precedes the service from eleven o’clock in the morning until two-thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn. Reverend Clay Stauffer is officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Cumberland Heights, or St. Cecilia Academy located in the Catholic Diocese of Nashville.
