Age 99. Passed away on August 22, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, John W. Thompson, Jr; sons, Malcom Toney Cary and Thurman Cecil Flippin, Jr; grandson, Michael Toney Cary; sister, Gladys Toney Chance; and brother, William Harvey (Bud) Toney, Jr. Survived by daughter, Lou Flippin (Jerry) Sullivan; 3 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Billie Farler Cary; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from four o’ clock in the evening until eight on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Woodlawn. Graveside Service will be held at eleven o’ clock in the morning at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Willowbrook Hospice or Shriners Hospital for Children.
