facility in Nashville, IN on April 5, 2025 at the age of 62, following
decades of declining health due to SCA2.
Todd was born November 12, 1962 in Elkhart, IN to parents Bob & Marge
Creighton. He is survived by his father Bob Creighton (Nashville, IN),
Bob's partner Peggy McCorvie (Bloomington, IN), his brother Brian
Creighton (Bloomington, IN), his sister Dana Creighton, and Dana's
daughter, Kendall Baker (both of Durham, NC).
Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Marge Creighton, his brother,
Scott Creighton, his paternal grandparents, Russell & Helen Creighton,
and his maternal grandparents, Earl & Lorene Poynter.
Todd graduated from Warsaw High School in 1981, and attended Arizona
State University and Indiana University. Todd's main occupations were
auto mechanic, then construction, until SCA2 made that trade impractical.
Todd loved nature, his cats, and making rustic wood furniture which he'd
give to relatives or sell at flea markets. He even made a wooden
full-sized cougar using a chain saw and carving tools. He sold it at a
flea market. Todd also enjoyed attending Classic Car Shows. He was a
volunteer at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, where he was playfully
attacked by two 90 lb. lion cubs, and had to be rescued by the owner.
His clothes were shredded, and he sustained many claw wounds, but he
went back to work there the next day.
A private service will be held at a later date.
