Sherry Denise Houze, 65, of Nashville passed away, Monday, July 18, 2022 in I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born March 3, 1957 in Selma, Alabama to Paul Sloan and Martha McKee Sloan. She was the Director for Mothers Cupboard in Brown County.
Survivors include her son, Jordan (Amanda Chapman) Houze of Nashville; two grandsons, Matthew Houze and Bryce Houze; two sisters, Roxanne McKenzie of Florida and Paula (Phil) Cloat of Vevay, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sherry was a long time Chef and enjoyed cooking. She had been a member of the American Chef Association and enjoyed making greeting cards.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00 -6:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville.
