Dr. Robert A. Suding, Jr., 57, of Trafalgar, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Born June 4, 1955 in Chicago to Robert and Jean (Newman) Suding, Dr. Suding graduated from Marmion Military Academy in Aurora, Illinois and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. After practicing in the Chicago area for 20 years, he obtained his law degree from Northern Illinois University’s School of Law and practiced in Illinois until retiring to his Trafalgar farm in 2006.
Surviving Dr. Suding are his beloved father, Robert A. Suding, Sr. (Jacque) of Crystal Lake, Illinois; sisters, Ann Stark (Jeff), of Oceanside, California, Lynn Amoni (Larry), of Yorkville, Illinois and Kathy Kittle, of Oceanside, California; uncles, Bill Suding, of Indianapolis and Gene Suding (Dee), of Nashville, Indiana. Also surviving him are his nieces, Amber Biggs (Nick), of Elburn, Illinois, Dixie Thompson, of Oceanside, California, nephew, Steven Amoni, of Yorkville, Illinois; great-niece, Harper Biggs and several cousins including Paul Suding (Kelli), of Trafalgar, Indiana (Grant and Natalie), Nick Suding, of Nashville, Indiana (Shelby and Abigayle), Ruth Ellen Elinski (Tim), of Cottonwood, Arizona and Marie Suding, of Bloomington, Indiana. He will be missed as well by his old friends, Bud Hensley (Gail) and Barbara Vawter.
Dr. Suding was preceded in death by his adored mother, Jean, in 1987, his maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Alvin Newman and his paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Anna Suding.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. Burial will be private.
