Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sue “Wood” Hessman; son, Robert T. Hessman; daughter, Stacie Marie Peaslee; son-in-law, Mike Peaslee; and grandchildren, Christopher Michael and Anthony Thomas Peaslee. He is also survived by his sisters, Joni Burris and Susan M. Gross as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Lee Hessman; and sisters, Kathleen L. Merchant and Julieann B. Abbott.
Bob was a retired heavy equipment operator and foreman for Quality Golf Construction. He was extremely fond of any and all outdoor activities. His favorites in particular were fishing and camping; especially when it was done with his grandsons. He was also a self-proclaimed Grill Master.
Bob deeply loved and cherished every member of his close and extended family. Truly a man who has never met a stranger and willing to call them a friend; his gift of gab reflected his larger than life heart, but the largest portion of his heart was devoted to the love of his life of 42 years, Linda.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor on January 30th, 2022 at The Seasons Lodge in Nashville, IN (560 State Rd 46, Nashville, IN 47448) from 2-6pm.
Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville, IN is assisting with the arrangements. Online condolences may be given at www.BondMitchellFuneralHome.com
