Nina B. Leggett, 80, of Nashville, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5th, 2024. Born on August 5, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Violet Bell Wayman and Luther James Leggett.
Nina retired as a dedicated Sales Representative from Thermo King and was a proud co-owner of two successful businesses: Bearwallow Gifts, a beloved ladies boutique, and Wayman-Leggett Enterprises, a rental property company. Her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to her work were admired by many.
Nina had a zest for life that was evident in her many passions. She loved traveling, sightseeing, and exploring the arts. She found joy in fishing, watching NASCAR, and had a deep affection for animals, especially her horses, cats, and dogs. Her beloved yellow lab, Kaylee, was a constant companion. Nina also enjoyed spending time with her friends, watching westerns, and staying informed on political matters.
Nina's warmth, kindness, and vibrant personality touched the lives of many in the Brown County area. She leaves behind numerous friends who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki L. Wayman.
Nina's legacy of love, friendship, and dedication will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nina's memory to a local animal shelter or charity of your choice.
Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
