Linda Kay (Keaton) Hinkle, age 65, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday morning at her residence. Born November 23, 1945 in Martinsville, she was the daughter of Claris and Laura (Mathis) Keaton. She retired in January 2009 from Liberty Mutual Insurance where she worked in the claims department for 23 years. She loved to walk her miniature schnauzer, Riley. She also loved to travel and to occasionally play Euchre.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jack Hinkle, of Indianapolis; two daughters, Jennifer Rens, and her husband, Troy, of Shawnee, Kansas and Kelley Hinkle, of Indianapolis; one son, Jon Hinkle, of Indianapolis; one brother, Bill Keaton, of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister-in-law, Shelby Keaton, of Nashville and three grandchildren, Juston Hinkle, Janey Rens, and Katey Rens. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Phillip Keaton, one sister in infancy, Carolyn Keaton and one sister-in-law, Donna Keaton.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday (09/10) at 1:00 P.M. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Joe Wray officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
