Janice Rose Halladay, 90, of Nashville passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 in her home with her family at her side. She was born May 10, 1932 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Everett Nelson and Jeanette McNamara Nelson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Richard Halladay of Nashville; five children, Betsy Clouse of Meridian, Idaho, Betsy (Bradd) Schmuck of Greenwood, Janet Warren of Anderson, Joseph (Vicki) Eberhardt III of Pendleton and Lyn (Chris) Bryan of Nashville; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bruce Halladay, and two sons-in-law, Richard Clouse and Randy Warren.
Janice was an Episcopalian. She was a member of the Brown County Lions Club and the Brown County Dulcimer Society. She enjoyed spinning and weaving and was a Christian education teacher and writer.
There will be a Memorial Service with the interment at St. Thomas Episcopal Church’s Memorial Garden, 600 Paul Hand Boulevard, Franklin, Indiana 46131 on Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
