.James “Jim” Roth, Nashville, 64, passed away Tuesday, February 14. Jim was born September 18, 1947 in Indianapolis to Cushing and Beth Roth. He married Kathy Hiemstra on August 10, 1974 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Survivors include his bride Kathy, daughter Sena (Doug) Hineline of San Francisco CA, and son Kyle (Karla) Roth of Jacksonville, FL.
Jim was a graduate of Hinesdale High School in Hindale, IL, attended Buena Vista University in Iowa, and then served as a radioman third class in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971.
Jim spent 35 years in Industrial Sales and Services, before retiring from Toyota Industrial Equipment Co., Columbus, IN. in 2007.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and adopted brother Wally.
Jim enjoyed; spending time with family and friends, was an avid reader, and also enjoyed sending his bride off to work then going to breakfast Monday – Friday for a daily supply of laughter.
Beth Richardson and Dan and Elizabeth Domont will host an open house Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Salt Creek Golf Retreat from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in celebration of Jim’s life. A private family service will be held at a later date.
