Gerald "Jerry" Owen Hall

Gerald Owen “Jerry” Hall, age 82, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. Born April 3, 1940 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Richard Hall, Sr. and Bernadene (Stull) Hall. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Jerry started and operated his tool and die shop, Advanced Engineering, from 1969-1998 in Greensburg, Indiana. He was a member of the Nashville Christian Church.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca “Susan” (Schrougham) Hall, of Nashville; three daughters, Angela Hall of Bloomington, Indiana, Elizabeth “Libby” (Shayne) Brown, of Fairmount, Indiana and Suzanne (Ryan) Kann, of Whitefish, Montana; seven grandchildren, Nathan Barkdull, Nicholas Barkdull, Clay Kann, Remi Kann, Benny Kann, Adalee Brown and Barrett Brown; two great-grandchildren, Makala Barkdull and Rozlin Barkdull and one sister, Susan Lynn Smart, of Greenwood, Indiana.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Hall, Jr.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 St. Rd. 135 North with Pastor Rick Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Nashville Christian Church or Riley Hospital for Children.
