Eugene was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on September 20th, 1937, the son of the late Howard E. Miskell, and Nettie J. Broody. He entered eternal life surrounded by the love of his children and friends of many years.
Eugene had been an avid hunter and fisherman also enjoyed building projects and repair of fishing equipment his whole life.
He was a retiree of Cummins Engine Company as a Maintenance Engineer in 1986.
After retiring, he started making Florida his winter home to enjoy the warmer weather, flea markets, yard sales and fishing.
He is survived by his children Michael Eugene Miskell, Joy Ray, Rick Miskell, and Cheri Scott, and a sister Jo Ann Forrister, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces.
He will be greatly missed by his love ones of many years.
Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville, IN.
Friends may call at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will also take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Voss & Sons Funeral Home in Seymour, IN. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, IN.
Memorials may be written to American Cancer Society for research for pancreatic cancer.
