Dorothy Louise (Tripp) Zimmerman, 84, of Linton, IN and formerly of Brown County passed away July 27, 2015 in Linton. She was born October 14, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Sanford A. and Flora Tripp. Dorothy was a housewife.
Survivors include her children, Peggy Russell, Bloomington, Donald Zimmerman, Franklin, Michael (Elaine) Zimmerman, Lafayette, Diana Smith, Bloomfield, Rosemarie Windell, Martinsville, Annette Patterson, Linton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Elsworth Colonel Zimmerman, Jr., her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 3 at 2:00 P.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Brown County. The family will receive visitors Monday, August 3 from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
