Cynthia Gay Dale

A longtime director of the Brown County Art Guild, member of Tri-Kappa, and Nashville United Methodist Church, Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, friend and animal lover.

Cindy is survived by her husband, R. David Dale; children, Jason C. Miller of Plainfield and Carrie Anna Normile of Nashville; grandchildren, Ella and Emma Miller, William, Samuel, and Oliver Normile, and Elijah, Noah, David and Grace Dale.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and LaVelle Stiver Smoker of New Paris.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, in Nashville United Methodist Church, 36 S. Jefferson St., with Pastor Mary Cartwright officiating. A meal will follow the services.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. prior to the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Camp Brosius endowment, in care of Camp Brosius, 901 W. New York St., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
