Carol Ann Humphreys McGee, 79, of Brown County passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born May 29, 1941 in Crawfordsville, IN, the daughter of the late Dr. John Wesley Humphreys and Marcella Humphreys.
Carol made her home in Brown County in 1979. She loved the history of Nashville, and researching family genealogy. She opened a shop in Nashville for years, appropriately named Unique Happenings. Carol was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She loved her children, grandchildren and family most of all. She enjoyed astrology, palm reading, Brown County History and genealogy. She had been a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and Order of the Eastern Star. She will be deeply missed by her children, family, friends; especially her cherished grandchildren who called her “Mimi”.
Carol is survived by her two sons, John McGee and his wife Angela; Michael McGee and his wife Kim; her daughter, Lori McGee and her fiance John Kirby; two brothers, John Humphreys and Joseph Hayes; six grandchildren, Triston, Gunner, Johnathon, Aiden, Maxx, and Alex; and many other beloved family members.
