Beth Ann Hamm

Beth Ann Hamm, 59, of Morgantown passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Brown County Health and Living. She was born April 2, 1964 in Franklin to Dennis Purkhiser and Linda Lacefield Purkhiser. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, James “Jim” Hamm of Morgantown; her mother, Linda Purkhiser; a son, James Allen Hamm of Morgantown; two sisters, Crystal Painter of Greenwood and Rachel (Kevin) Pool of Morgantown; a brother, Dennis Mitchell Purkhiser of Nashville; a grandson, Jacob Hamm; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Purkhiser. Beth was a long time member of Cottonwood Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing and mushroom hunting. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Cottonwood Church, 2523 W Cottonwood Rd, Morgantown, IN 46160, with Pastor Darrel Miller officiating, burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Saturday, prior to services from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in the church.
