Ryan was born on May 27, 1982 to his parents Deborah (Tabb) Frank and Stephen Frank. He grew up in Westbrook, ME with his parents and siblings. He was married to his wife, Kate, in September of 2018 in Saco, ME at a small ceremony with family and close friends. Ryan was a graduate of Westbrook High School. He had many different jobs throughout his lifetime, but was skilled as a professional painter. Most recently, he was working as an intern at Adult and Teen Challenge in Manchester, NH with the intention of joining the staff upon completion. He was passionate about serving those who struggle with addiction. His family recently purchased their first home in Sanford, ME and he shared time between Sanford and Manchester, NH while completing his internship.
Ryan loved New England sports, golfing, and true crime TV, but most of all he loved being home and spending time with his family. Ryan was a loyal, sensitive man with a big heart, and loved his family fiercely. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to share stories to make people laugh. He loved his parents and his sister greatly, and often remarked how his father was his biggest supporter. He and his wife welcomed their first son in September of 2020 and he absolutely lit up watching him hit milestones and develop his own little personality. He loved his step-daughters immensely and wanted them to know that they are loved, valued, and accepted. His biggest hope for his son and his two step-daughters was that they would grow up to know the Lord and to walk with Him always.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Frank of Sanford, his two step-daughters, Korrinne and Kailynn Greer of Sanford, his son Nolan Frank of Sanford; his parents, Deborah and Stephen Frank of Westbrook; his grandmother Adrienne Frank of South Portland; his brother Nathan Frank of New York, and sister Jenna (Frank) Ashburn and brother-in-law Jonny Ashburn of Portland. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private service for family will be held.
