Marion C. (Stevenson) Sirvydas, 84, of Hudson, NH, passed away on June 10, 2022 at Fairview Senior Living after a period of declining health. Marion was born August 16, 1937 in Montreal, Quebec Canada and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (McIlravy) Stevenson.
Marion grew up in Montreal and graduated from Monklands High School in Montreal, Quebec in 1956. She was the beloved wife of John A. Sirvydas with whom she shared 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2020. In her early years Marion was a loving and wonderful mother and homemaker to her three children. She was a licensed real estate broker from 1978-1986 and later a customer service administrator at Digital Equipment Corporation before her retirement in 1992. Marion was always a social person and enjoyed many friendships.
In addition to many trips to see family and friends in Canada, Marion and John enjoyed annual multi-week family camping vacations when their children were young. As the family grew older, vacations transitioned to ocean front escapes in Wells, ME. Marion and John were also snowbirds and spent 20 plus winters in Florida. Marion was a communicant of St. John’s the Evangelist church in Hudson, NH and St. Casimir’s/St. Patrick's Parish in Nashua, NH.
Marion is survived by her brother and sister in-law Jeff and Marie-France Mahar, brother and sister-in-law, John and Diane Stevenson, sister and brother-in-law Karen and Brian McClintock and brother and sister-in-law Paul and Anna Parker. Family members include her two daughters and sons-in-laws, Donna and Scott Smith of Milford, NH and Kristine and Bill Berry of Matthews, NC; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Diane Sirvydas of Hudson, NH; five grandchildren, David Allen and his wife Chelsea of Raymond, NH, Samantha (Sirvydas) Whitney and her husband Timothy of Litchfield, NH, Michael Sirvydas of Hudson, NH, Catherine Hodsdon of Somerville, MA and John Hodsdon of Exeter, NH; and four great grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Whitney of Litchfield, NH and Sariah and Zebulun Allen of Raymond, NH.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
