Margaret F Gagnon

She was born in Cambridge, MA on May 23, 1934, the daughter of the late James and Constance (Noon) Grant.

Peggy has been a Nashua resident since 1973, and had previously lived in Tewksbury, MA and Cambridge, MA. She was employed for many years at Sun Chemical and Kollsman Instruments. Peggy’s greatest love and achievement in life was her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who was happiest when spending time with and taking care of her family. She will be deeply missed by them all.

Peggy is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Gagnon of Nashua; four sons, Michael Hayes of Nashua, Joseph Hayes and his wife Suzie of NC, William Hayes and his wife Pat of SC, and Robert Hayes and his wife Tricia of Amherst, two-step daughters Cheryl Pagiegal of CA and Sandra Jean Gagnon of ID, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is pre-deceased by a son, James Hayes.

Visiting hours were held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 2 PM to 5 PM at ST. Laurent Funeral Home, 116 Elm St Nashua, NH 03060. The Funeral Service and burial was private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy’s name to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054, Marguerite’s Place, 87 Palm St. Nashua, NH 03060 or the ALS Association, Northern New England Chapter, 10 Ferry St. Suite 309, Concord, NH 03301.
