James was a lifelong resident of Nashua. He attended and graduated from St. Patrick’s School and served the church as an altar boy, where he met his wife of 64 years Maureen. He was a family man with a great sense of humor, and was known to “propose to every woman including the nurses at the hospital.” He was an avid reader, who loved history, walking along the beach, and watching Boston sports teams. Jim spent many happy years working as the CEO of Nashua Municipal Employees Credit Union.
He is survived by his loving wife Maureen Flynn; daughters Connie Kysor and her husband Terry, Sue Yeaton and her husband Tim; Grandchildren Nathan Goulet and his wife Louise, Thomas Kysor and his fiance Alanna Field, Ashley Rokobauer and her husband Eric, Nicole Yeaton, and TJ Yeaton and his wife Jordan; Great Grandchildren Caroline Goulet, Campbell Yeaton; Sister in law Sandy Lavoie and her husband Ron; Brother in law Dickie Perrault, John Silvia; close cousin George Lynch and his wife Maureen, along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces. He is predeceased by his sister in law Connie Silvia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 13, 2020 at 9:30am at St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua, NH with burial immediately following at Edgewood Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.zissweeneyfuneralhome.com
