Dana Scott Robbins, 48, of Hollis, NH, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2014 at his home. He was born on September 30, 1965 in Nashua, NH, the son of David and Loretta (Senecal) Robbins. He was a lifelong resident of the Nashua area and resided in Hollis for the past 14 years. Dana was a happy guy who loved life and exhibited a generous spirit. Known as “The Hollis Tile Guy”, he was extremely hard working and through his fine craftsmanship, left his mark in many business establishments, homes and hearts. He loved his family and was always there to give a helping hand when needed. He also enjoyed music, gardening and entertaining. He was a member of the Club National in Nashua, NH, where he enjoyed spending time with his many friends. In his free time, he loved to bike on various rail trails throughout New England and had a passion for bird watching.
Dana is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathryn (Feraios) Robbins, his daughter, Vanessa Robbins of Boston, MA, his son, John Robbins of Hollis, NH, three brothers, David Robbins of Laguna Beach, CA, Peter Robbins of Wareham, MA and John Robbins and his wife, June of Bradenton, FL. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 West Hollis St. Nashua, NH and internment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St. Nashua.
