Carol N. Anctil, 82, a life-long resident of Nashua, NH passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Nashua. She was born June 14, 1929 in Nashua, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Harriet (Tsaktsiri) Gatsas.
Mrs. Anctil had worked for Royal Business Forms in Nashua and also as a lunch monitor for Bicentennial and Elm St. Schools. She was a member of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church and a former President of the Ladies Auxiliary (AGAPE) at church. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends and her family.
Mrs. Anctil is survived by her husband of 56 years; Gerard A. Anctil of Nashua, two sons; Fr. Nicholas Anctil and his wife Cynthia of White Plains, NY and John Anctil and his wife Anne of Litchfield, NH, by three grandchildren; Kalli, Danielle and Stacey Anctil and by a sister; Stella Ligouras of Astoria, NY. She was predeceased by a brother; Christos Gatsas and a sister; Ida Andrews.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Visiting will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral service in the church. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03062.
