Iris is survived by her husband, Jozef Lak; her daughter Nilsa (Lisa) and her husband, Thomas Lee Rhymestine, her grandchildren; Edward and Michael Denigris, her sister Norma Aguilar, her brother in law Alex Aguilar her sister in law Aida Mercado, her nieces Nancy, Yvette and Mildred. Her nephews; Freddie, Melvin, Ronnie, Angel and David and her great nephews, Marcus, Kenny, Mathew, and Jason; great niece Maria.
The family will receive friends for a Life Celebration for Iris which will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM until Friday, December 23, 2022 10am at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn, 27100 Old Dixie Hwy, Naranja, FL 33032. . The lifting and blessing of Iris's soul will occur Friday, December 23, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Cathedral of St Mary, 7525 NW 2 ave, Miami, FL 33150. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM . Iris will be laid to rest at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Cemetery.
