Frances Elizabeth “Peggy” Lott, age 89, of Homestead, Florida passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Peggy was born on October 15, 1932, in Cherryville, North Carolina and moved with her family to Homestead, Florida in 1947.
Shortly thereafter she met and married the love of her life, Lewis Lott. They were married for 68 years before Lewis’ passing in 2017. Peggy spent her life at one of the hardest jobs there is – raising four children, tending to the home and spending time helping her husband in his business as a contractor.
In addition to numerous friends and her extended family, Peggy is survived by her children, Ronnie (Jane) Lott. Linda (David Schwartz) Lott, Brenda Lott (Joe) Ladrie, Robert (Maria) Lott, seven grandchildren, Connie Sizemore, David DiBenedetto, Kane Borgardt, Kelly Mckechnie, Kyle Borgardt, Rena Pratts and Ryan Lott, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Peggy is predeceased by her husband, Lewis Lott, her grandson Bryan DiBenedetto and her granddaughter, Shari Lott-Porter.
Peggy will be greatly missed and remembered by all the people whose life she touched.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM with services to begin at 1PM Pastor Bill (William) L. Baggett Jr. officiating.
