I am so moved and inspired by how my Aunt Dee and Uncle Joe cared for and loved one another during their entire life together. 

Aunt Dee was a natural caregiver her entire life with a special gift toward children. She was so dedicated that she completed rigorous college coursework late in life on their behalf which she embraced enthusiastically.

After my beloved Gran passed away, Aunt Dee single handedly cared for my Uncle Joe as they both faced many health challenges. She respected and loved my Uncle Joe as he returned care to her and loved and honored her.

I was blessed to recently have a final conversation with Aunt Dee in which we both shared our love of God and acceptance of Jesus as our Savior.

Aunt Dee is at peace in Heaven now reuniting with many others and awaiting my Uncle Joe (no time soon if I have anything to do with it).
