Carl "Lee" Wilt

February 8, 1975 – November 29, 2024

Carl “Lee” Wilt, 49, of Homestead, Florida, passed away on November 29, 2024. Born and raised in Homestead, Lee was known for his hardworking nature, big heart, and love for his family.

Lee married twice in his life, first to Sandra Carvalho, together they had two sons, Alan and Ryan. Later, he married Yaeliz Torres, together they had two daughters, Carlee and Zaria, as well as his two stepchildren, Ashley and Baeli. One of Lee’s greatest joys in life was being a grandfather to his five grandchildren, who adored their “Papa.”

A true craftsman, Lee could fix anything with an engine and loved when anyone asked for help. He had a special gift for turning any situation into a family cookout, always bringing people together with good food, laughter, and burnt corn dogs. His legacy is one of love and laughter.

Lee is survived by his loving parents, Ronald and Sandra; his brother, Ronald Jr.; his sister, Tracy; his children, Alan, Ryan, Carlee, and Zaria; his stepchildren, Ashley and Baeli; his five grandchildren; nieces and nephews; countless cousins, including his twin Rob, and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn on Thursday, December 5, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM. The funeral home is located at 27100 Old Dixie Hwy, Naranja, FL 33032. There will be no formal service, but all are welcome to attend to pay their respects.
