Born November 29, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Carmelo and Ruth (Liberty) Rivera.
Rosemary was a former elementary school teacher for the Southfield and Detroit, Michigan area. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Detroit. She graduated from Lutheran High West of Detroit in 1985 and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Education in 1989.
Surviving are her mother Ruth, Napoleon, Ohio, three brothers Paul (Sharon) Rivera, Southfield, Michigan, Bruce (Jennifer) Rivera, Beverly Hills, Michigan Jose Matias, Fraser, Michigan; two sisters Norma Warah, Fraser, Michigan and Carol (Patrick) Pelltier, Napoleon, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carmelo in 2001.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, Rev. Peter Marcis, officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 2 to 7 p.m.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to Heartland of Wauseon, St. Paul Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
