Betty Jean Schroeder

Born May 15, 1933 in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of James and Hazel (Mitchell) Balis. In 1950 she married Leo Druhot and he preceded her in death 1986. On November 13, 1987 she married Robert L. Schroeder, who survives of Wauseon.

Betty was a retired proof reader in the banking industry.

Surviving also is two sons James “Jimmie” Druhot, Englewood, Colorado, Jeffrey (Gretchen) Druhot, Homer, Alaska; two daughters Jacquelyn (Mike) Elling, Liberty Center, Ohio, Judy Rosebrock, Wauseon, Ohio; stepson Terry Schroeder, Scottsbluff, Nebraska; stepdaughter Kimberly Schroeder, Taos, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death also by her parents and two sisters, Arlene Oberlin and Vivian Fix.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11 a.m.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Relief Fund of Super Storm Sandy or to the benevolence of the family.
