Wanda Alice Kemper, 74, Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019. She was born in Massillon, Ohio on January 29, 1945 to Peter Sentz and Anna Wincek (Wucinick), but was raised by her mom and stepfather, Michael Wucinick.
Wanda was a 1964 Graduate of Jackson Memorial High School in Stark County, Ohio. She then went on to study fine arts at Albany Junior College in Albany, Georgia, and Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She also earned her Master Artist Degree from the Professional Photographers of America. Wanda was a successful professional artist, her career expanding over 50 years.
Wanda sadly leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Kemper; her mother at age 101 years, and siblings Thresa (Sentz) Beasley (husband Lloyd), Pauline (Wucinick) Morris (husband Barney), Mike Wucinick (wife Lisa), Nancy (Wucinick) Bentley (partner Bill Graham), Jack Wucinick (wife Joanne), and Mary (Wucinick) Olszewski. Also, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wanda said, “My goal as an artist is to create a work of art that conveys my joy of painting to the viewer.” Family, friends, neighbors, and art colleagues gathered to appreciate the joys of Wanda’s painting and shared memories of her love on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Hodges Funeral Home in Naples.
