Tobin M. Shaw, who resided in Naples, Florida passed away in Naples on June 23, 2021 of a methamphetamine overdose.
Tobin Maxwell Shaw, the son of Dennis and Susan Shaw, was born January 5, 1995 in Mason City, Iowa. Tobin graduated from Forest City High School and attended Iowa State University. In 2015, he relocated to Naples, FL where his parents lived. He worked as a line cook in various restaurants as well as an Uber driver. He enjoyed playing Xbox, watching movies, sports and reading mysteries. Tobin was an animal person and throughout his life he loved his dogs, Peko, Cooper and Muffin. He was devoted to them until the end of their lives. During the pandemic, he picked out a kitten “Ace” at the Human Society in Naples. He loved playing with Ace and watching the birds with Ace on the lanai.
Addiction is a battle that Tobin could not overcome. If you have a friend or relative who is fighting the fight against addiction, please don’t give up and do everything that you can do to get them help.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Susan Shaw of Naples, FL, nephew Asher, uncles Chuck (Rachel) Moore, Doug (Cheryl) Shaw aunt Vicki Glaze and numerous cousins.
Tobin was preceded in death by his brother, Griffin Shaw, and grandparents, Kendall and Norma Moore and Wayne “Red” and Geneva Shaw.
