It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that I write this note on the passing of Tom Cafazzo.  Tom & Ann were more than neighbors, they were more than friends. To us, Tom & Ann were family.  They were a part of many memories made thru the years on Dorothy Road.  There is a saying that says "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure".  I will always treasure the memories I have of Tom. Tom lived a good life with the love of his life, Ann, always by his side. They traveled together from coast to coast visiting family and friends and always made new friends along the way.  They were easy to like, easy to talk to and fun to be around.  Tom will be missed by his family and friends but no one will miss him more than his beloved Ann.  
Someday, we will meet again my friend on that beautiful shore where the roses bloom forever. Until then, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I’m going to miss that cousin of mine more than I can even imagine. So many Cafazzo traits, so much like his uncles- Bob and Joe. He reminded me so much of my dad. His enthusiasm for family, sharing and life is contagious. His choice of life partners was brilliant and the adventures and life that you both created is amazing. 
I’m so sorry for me to have only touched the tip of this iceberg. Rotten times we live in. I will be down to visit this year covid or not. With so much of my heart and many prayers for your faith and Tom’s life in heaven I sent my love to you all.

I met Tom and Anne by doing the Cafazzo family tree over 15 years ago.  We learned a great deal about our families and became friends.  We were thrilled when they came up to Canada to see us with their amazing fifth wheel for a Cafazzo picnic/ reunion !! I was so glad that My late partner John got to meet them in Naples with me in 2017.  My condolences and prayers to Anne and the family 🙏🏻❤️

We will miss Tom but have some great memories with both of you. Cape Cod was one of my special one's. Tom showed me how to catch Blue Fish and cleaning them.

You both are great friends and he will always be in our thoughts.

Our deepest  sympathy to  the Cafazzo family on the loss of Tom. What a 
Great guy was Tom, always ready to help anyone. We will miss him so.

My grandfather, known to us as “Pops” was a bulldog. He was a fighter and a hard worker who loved fiercely and was extremely loyal, kind, inquisitive, stubborn and hard working. He was filled with an immense sense of adventure and enjoyed touring the us and cruising the world. 

Gram and Pop have three sons, five grandsons and I am the only grandaughter. He was so proud of all of us. We are scattered across the country living on both the East and West coasts. My husband and I live in Oregon which meant we didn’t get to visit with them as much as we would have liked, but when we did, Pops always made me feel loved, seen and accepted. There was rarely a dry eye in the room during our reunions.

Five years ago, on one visit with us in Oregon to our “work in progress/fixer upper” house, they arrived only to discover that on the second day of their trip, we needed to remove all of the siding in two days. Immediately they both offered/insisted on helping. Tom and Ann are a force to be reckoned with. They kindly helped and we were able to accomplish the daunting task on ladders 20-30 ft high in record time. We are forever grateful for their example of hard work, dedication to family and what an enduring marriage looks like.

We love you Pops and are grateful for the time we had with you, for all of the lessons and love.

How lucky we were to have known You. Although we were always miles apart we were able to share many great times together that will never be forgotten! To me you were very special guy one I admired because of the way you cared for everyone, your thoughtfulness, your honesty and most of all your love of family and friends. There is only one Tom Cafazzo and I will miss that smile, your voice, the jokes, the emails and of coarse that love for all. So as you would say when you called me “I’am having a glass of Rum and Thinking of you” Until we meet again Uncle, your nephew John
