Sharon Joanne Halliday

Sharon Joanne Halliday, 93, passed away August 2, 2021 in Deland, FL. Sharon was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Grace Alexandra Perry and Vincent Lumley. She was later adopted by Merrill Sanford Burnham. She was born in Royal Oak, Michigan.

She went to Kalamazoo College in Michigan and married Alan Beebe.

She is survived by her children Scott Beebe, Carlie Merritt, Geoff Beebe, and Wendy Greer.

Her second husband was Willis Halliday. She was survived by Harriett Finch.

In her life she enjoyed teaching 5th grade, painting, writing poetry, singing in the church choir, and wearing blue.

She was a gentle, loving soul who is celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

A Visitation will take place on Monday, August 9th, 2021 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Ave. N.
