Sarah "Nana" Castronovo, 89, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the caring hands of Harbor Chase of Naples and Vitas Hospice by her side. Sarah passed peacefully in her sleep. She leaves her daughter, Rosemary Lowery (John); son Frank and (Lise); son Mike (Barbara); granddaughter's Stephanie and Melanie; grandsons John and Mario and great-daughters; Molly, Carley, and Lilly. Sarah was born in Bronx, NY and first generation from Italy. Sarah lived primarily in Hialeah, FL and the past 16 years in Naples. Sarah was a caring nurse for 35 years and volunteered for ten more years at Hialeah Hospital. Long known for her sense of humor, high energy, passion to bake, and love for her family she will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends in Naples on May 17th.
