Romaine was a devout Catholic her entire life whose strong faith was a testament to her giving heart. She was the Matriarch of her family. She treasured her children and grandchildren and loved spending quality time with them. Her and Joseph’s life together was filled with unconditional love, world travels, and tranquil days at home in the mountains and by the ocean. Romaine’s heavenly homemade Italian specialities were truly enjoyed and savored by grateful family and friends. She deeply loved Jesus Christ with all her heart, soul, mind and strength and she loved her neighbor as thy self Matthew 27: 37-39. She was and is an inspiration; and will be greatly missed.
A Catholic Mass in her honor will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 12-Noon at Corpus Christi Chapel, 5975 Golden Gate Parkway, Naples, FL 34116. Burial and a celebration of life reception will follow at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. North, Naples, FL 34108.
The family of Romaine wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to Father VanZee, the Knights of Columbus, and all the family and friends who have kept Romaine in their thoughts and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Romaine’s memory to Corpus Christi Chapel, 5975 Golden Gate Parkway, Naples, FL 34116, or St. Williams Catholic Church Knights of Columbus, 601 Seagate Drive, Naples, FL 34108.
