He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Labelle, FL where he met the love of his life, the now deceased Chef Joyce Loretta (nee Ballard). He leaves his three sons, Crabby Rob (Candy Skufca), Builder Dave (Virginia), and Chef/Stylist Cosmo (Sherri Brown). Nine grandchildren, Chris, Daniel, Robin, Jessica, Ryan, Joshua, Hope, Chad, and Lauren as well as seven great-grandchildren Sawyer, Jacob, Liam, Riley, Emma Rose, Raven, and Aiden.
Bob was a founding father of stone crabbing in Naples. He was a Boy Scout Master for his son's troops. He delivered the Naples Daily News and the Fort Myers Press and delivered mail all throughout Collier County.
He was a great humanitarian and family man. Feeding people was his passion. He was willing to help any person who asked.
He always saw God's beauty in nature. He saw God's beauty in YOU!!!
A visitation for Bob will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, Florida 34108, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Chuck Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens.
