Patricia moved to Naples, Florida, in June 1971, where she worked at Naples Community Hospital as a registered nurse and then became one of the nursing administrator coordinators until her retirement; a job that she really loved for many years and made lots of friends there. Patricia and her husband loved to travel and went many places in her life. Patricia loved working in her yard which she did for many years after retirement.
Patricia is survived by her sons: Gregory (Carol) Wendel, Daniel (Donnell) Wendel, Jeffrey (Kellie) Wendel, and her stepson Brian (Judy) Wagner and their two daughters. She is also survived by grandchildren: Timothy, Steven, Michael, Lisa, and Alec Wendel. Also survived by sisters: Gerry (John) Kohlman, Barb (Chuck) Haessly, and Kathleen Treffert, brothers Bill (Samantha) Treffert, and Tom Treffert.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband David A. Wagner, her daughter Linda Wendel, her son John Wendel, and brother Dick Treffert.
A visitation service will be held Friday April 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL. Funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens.
