Nicholas Scott Straub, 29 of Naples, Florida, passed away suddenly on November 2nd, 2019. Nick was a loving son, an amazing brother and a caring friend to all who knew him. He was a lifelong resident of Naples, Florida and loved his hometown. Nick cared for everyone and always lent a helping hand to his friends as well as he showed compassion to strangers when they were in need. Nick loved spending time with his family, going to movies, reading books, video games, drawing, dancing and singing. His friends all remember his sweet nature and the way he made them laugh. He cared for his Grandmother, Nana, in her elderly age and held her hand while she passed away in hospice. Nick was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
His passion for animals was like no other, he rescued his cat, Pretty Kitty Cat, from being a stray and cared for his Mother’s dog, Ohana, as if she was his own. Nicholas was a great athlete and spent his childhood on championship football teams while also excelling in basketball and track.
Nick is survived by his mother Susan Straub of Naples, his father Brian Straub of Naples, his brother Zachary Straub and his fiancée Yasmin Pluss, of Naples. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins throughout the US who all loved him dearly and an infinite number of friends with whom he shared so much happiness, laughter and memories. We will all miss his laugh, smile, silly songs, loving nature and caring heart. Although we will carry on without him and our world will never be the same, Nick will never be forgotten as he will live on in our hearts forever.
