Nancy Jo was a devoted wife and mother to 4 children alongside her loving husband of 60 years Dennis H. Kurtz. Nancy spent her whole life serving her family and putting others first. Nancy was the church secretary for Covenant Presbyterian Church in Naples and a member of First Baptist Church of Naples. She worked many years for Naples Jewelers as a salesperson. Nancy loved to sing in the church choir and was the lead singer for the Naples Big Band in the late 80's and early 90's.
Nancy is survived by her 3 children, Brian Kurtz (Carla) of Bonita Springs, FL, Julie Hall of Naples, FL & Brandon Kurtz (Erin Willis) of Naples, FL. She also is survived by 7 grandchildren Kevin Chadwyn Kurtz, Andrew Evan Kurtz, Maribeth Brooke Green, Taran Lane Kurtz, Owen John Kurtz, Mikaela Najat Mockler, and Cameron Cecil Hall in addition to 7 great-grandchildren. Also, Nancy is survived by her 4 brothers Bryant (Becky) Raleigh of Des Moines, IA. Dr. Tim Raleigh (Dorothy) of Sedalia, MO, Dan (Lori) Raleigh of Cedar Rapids, IA, Jon Raleigh (Rosemary) of Waukee, IA.
She was preceded in death by her son Kevin D. Kurtz, and husband Dennis H. Kurtz., parents Rev. Stanford F. and Dorris L. Raleigh, sisters Sandra Fear and Linda Hews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
