Micheline Parker, 89, went home quietly on February 25, 2012. She had lived in the Naples area since 1956. She owned Micheline’s Kitchen until she retired. She is survived by her two daughters, Nadine (Randy) Riner and Sheri (Scott) Barnett, two granddaughters, Anita and Christina and her great grandson Tyler. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Parker (Sept. 20, 2002) her daughter, Victoria Simone Parker, and her granddaughter, Tina Riner.
She was a WWII war bride, born in Beavais, France; she first lived in Wichita, Kansas with Richard’s family and then moved to Naples.
She loved to cook and work with her hands. She made beautiful pine needle purses and needlepoint prints. She also knew how to enjoy a good glass of wine. So raise a glass and say Adieu.
Family will receive friends Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens where services will follow at 10:30.
